Dear colleagues and esteemed participants,

It is my privilege to present the Proceedings of the 28th International Congress on Project Management held under the theme “Project Management in the Digital Decade”  held from May 16th to 18th, 2024.

This year’s program of Congress was enriched by contributions from academics, industry leaders, and practitioners. The proceedings include research papers and key insights addressing topics from digital transformation projects and agile approach to integrating sustainability principles in projects within a digital context. We are particularly proud of the diverse range of perspectives presented, underscoring the global relevance and interdisciplinary nature of our field.

The Congress showcased an exceptional program, including keynote speeches from global experts, interactive panels, and hands-on workshops. The main highlights were the panels on project sustainability, project managemet office, strategic project management in the research and development institutes, construction project management, public sentor projects, and start-up projects in digital era. These diverse discussions underscored the interdisciplinary nature of project management, highlighting its global relevance across sectors. The program not only addressed contemporary issues but also showcased the evolving role of project management in a rapidly changing world.

I wish to express my gratitude to all authors, reviewers, and contributors who shared their expertise, as well as to the organizing committee for their tireless efforts in creating a successful and impactful event. Their dedication ensured a platform for meaningful exchange and collaboration that will continue to influence our field.

Deadline for Congress papers submission: April 25th, 2024

Required Format: Electronic

Language restrictions: All papers can be written in Serbian and English

Evaluation of papers: All contributions must be of high quality, original and not published elsewhere, or submitted for publication during the review period. A scientific committee will review all abstracts and, if accepted, each paper will be undergoing a double-blind review process
